A distressed black finish, tonal skull artwork and substantial 1.3mm cowhide leather give this men’s Harley-Davidson jacket a darker, more understated motorcycle character. Instead of brightly colored graphics, the design uses charcoal-grey embroidery, gunmetal hardware and black-on-black details to create depth without overwhelming the natural leather grain.
The shaped shoulders, snap-tab collar, zippered cuffs and adjustable waist tabs contribute to its armored-style appearance, while multiple secured pockets make it practical for everyday motorcycle-inspired fashion.
The back is dominated by a large circular embroidered design featuring a central skull, arched Harley-Davidson lettering and motorcycle branding. Grey and black thread keeps the artwork visible against the distressed leather without creating a high-contrast finish.
Smaller Harley-Davidson embroidery appears on the front chest, while a shield-style emblem is positioned on the upper sleeve. This placement provides visible branding from the front, side and back while maintaining the jacket’s dark monochrome character.

The outer shell is made from approximately 1.3mm genuine cowhide leather. Its black finish includes charcoal variations and naturally irregular shading that create a worn, road-inspired appearance.
Cowhide at this thickness has a firmer initial structure than lightweight lambskin or sheepskin. It should gradually soften around the shoulders, elbows and torso through regular wear while preserving the jacket’s shaped silhouette.
Natural grain variations and creases are expected in real leather. Because of the distressed finish, every section may not appear completely uniform in color.
A short stand collar frames the neckline and closes with an adjustable snap tab. This construction provides a cleaner, more compact profile than wide biker lapels.
A full-length metal zipper closes the front. The dark gunmetal finish coordinates with the jacket’s black and charcoal color palette, while the larger zipper pull can be handled more easily than a small concealed slider.
The jacket includes three visible exterior zippered pockets:
One horizontal chest pocket
Two vertical lower-front hand pockets
Metal zipper closures help secure small belongings while preserving the structured front. An additional pocket is positioned inside the jacket, providing four storage areas in total.
Rather than using a full belt around the body, the jacket has short leather adjustment tabs at both sides of the waist. Each tab closes with a metal snap, allowing the lower fit to be drawn in slightly.
The straight leather hem remains clean at the front and back, while the side tabs add adjustability without introducing a loose buckle or hanging belt end.
Metal zippers run along the sleeve ends, allowing the cuffs to open wider when putting the jacket on or adjusting gloves. When closed, the cuffs produce a slimmer wrist profile.
Curved sleeve panels follow the shape of the arms, and the shoulder seams extend into a structured upper yoke. This panel arrangement contributes to the jacket’s armored-style appearance even though no external hard-shell protectors are visible.
The front uses shaped shoulder panels, curved arm seams and a defined lower waist panel. A horizontal back yoke provides a clean transition above the large skull embroidery.
Tonal topstitching follows the shoulder yoke, sleeves, zipper pockets, collar and waistband. Parallel stitching is visible around several shaped panels and higher-stress seams, while the dark thread keeps the construction details integrated with the distressed black leather.

Armored-style motorcycle silhouette
The 1.3mm cowhide may feel firm during the first few wears. Choose a size that sits correctly across the shoulders and permits comfortable arm movement without excessive pulling through the back or chest.
Measure while wearing the type of shirt or light layer you expect to use beneath the jacket. Compare your chest, shoulder, waist and sleeve measurements with our size guide before ordering.
No removable impact protectors, armor pockets, CE-rated inserts or motorcycle PPE certification have been included in the supplied specifications. The term armored-style describes the jacket’s structured appearance and panel design; it should not be understood as confirmation of protective body armor.
For technical or higher-speed riding, wear approved protective motorcycle equipment appropriate for the route, speed and conditions.
Remove dry dust with a soft cloth and clean around the embroidered artwork with a small, soft brush. Do not scrub the stitching aggressively or saturate it with conditioner.
Apply a product suitable for finished cowhide sparingly, testing it on a concealed area first. Avoid machine washing, soaking and direct heat. If the jacket becomes damp, hang it on a wide supportive hanger and allow it to dry naturally.
No armor, impact inserts or safety certification has been specified. The jacket has a structured, armor-influenced appearance, but it should not replace certified protective riding equipment.
Use a soft, dry brush to lift dust from between the embroidered threads. Avoid strong rubbing, soaking or applying leather conditioner directly to the artwork. Specialist cleaning is recommended for deeper stains.
Short leather tabs are positioned at both sides of the hem and fasten with metal snaps. They allow minor adjustment around the lower waist without using a complete wraparound belt.
Yes. The leather should become more flexible around natural movement areas with regular wear. Allow it to break in gradually rather than using water, heat or aggressive bending to force softness.
Keep dust and debris away from the zipper teeth and operate the sliders without forcing them. If a zipper becomes stiff, use a lubricant made specifically for garment zippers and keep it away from the leather and embroidery.
