Movement is the defining feature of this women’s brown studded suede fringe jacket. Long suede fringing flows across both the front and back, while polished silver-tone studs trace the pointed collar and shaped chest yoke. A straight YKK metal zipper gives the Western-inspired design a clean modern centre, making the jacket equally suitable for concerts, festivals, evenings out and statement everyday outfits.
Made from 0.9mm brown suede leather, the jacket balances softness with enough structure to support the long fringe, decorative hardware and shaped panels. Depending on the selected size, its approximate weight ranges from 1.4kg to 1.8kg.
The jacket uses recognisable Western details without looking like a costume. Its oversized pointed collar is outlined with two carefully spaced rows of smooth, silver-tone dome studs. The same metal detailing follows the curved front yoke, drawing attention to the line where the fringe is attached.
Long, individually cut suede strips fall from beneath the front yoke and extend across most of the chest. Rather than being added as small side accents, the fringe forms a major part of the design and moves naturally with the wearer.
The back continues the same idea with a broad shoulder yoke and a full row of fringe extending from one side to the other. This front-to-back placement gives the jacket a complete Western appearance from every angle. Discover more genuine-suede outerwear in our women’s suede leather jacket collection.
A genuine YKK metal zipper runs straight through the centre front. Its silver-tone finish coordinates with the rounded studs and provides a strong visual line between the two sections of front fringe. The jacket can be zipped fully for a more defined silhouette or worn open over a fitted shirt, dress or simple top.
The long sleeves have clean panel seams and shaped button cuffs. A round silver-tone cuff button repeats the finish used on the collar and chest. The lower body ends in a structured suede hem band with parallel topstitching, giving the moving fringe a stable base and keeping the waist-length silhouette neat.
Tonal single-row topstitching outlines the pointed collar and follows the curved front and rear yokes. The fringe is secured beneath these yoke seams, keeping its attachment line concealed and visually organised.
Parallel topstitching reinforces the sleeve sections, cuffs and lower hem band. The back remains relatively clean below the fringe, allowing the natural nap of the brown suede to remain visible without unnecessary decorative seams.

The jacket has a structured waist-length profile rather than a long coat-style cut. Its shoulder placement is especially important because the rear yoke and fringe are designed to sit in a specific position across the upper back.
Compare your bust, shoulder, sleeve and finished-back-length measurements with the size guide. If you are between sizes, select according to your preferred result: the closer size for a sharper fashion fit or the larger size for layering room.
The 1.4kg to 1.8kg weight gives the jacket a substantial feel. Variation between sizes is expected because larger jackets require additional leather, fringe and hardware.
For a classic Western outfit, combine the jacket with denim, a plain shirt and leather boots. If you prefer a contemporary look, contrast the warm brown suede with white trousers, a monochrome dress or a black fitted top.
The fringe and studs already provide strong texture, so uncomplicated clothing usually creates the most balanced result. Additional women’s cuts, including biker and bomber silhouettes, are available in the broader women’s leather jacket collection.
Remove dry dust with a clean suede brush, working gently in the direction of the nap. Avoid ordinary leather polish, conditioner and jacket shiner because products intended for smooth leather can darken suede and flatten its surface.
After wearing the jacket, separate any crossed fringe strips with clean, dry fingers before hanging it. Do not pull, aggressively comb or twist the fringe. Use a broad hanger and leave adequate space around the jacket so the strips can hang freely instead of becoming folded beneath other clothing.
If the suede gets wet, blot away surface moisture without rubbing and allow it to dry naturally. Keep the jacket away from direct heat, radiators and hairdryers. Once completely dry, brush the nap lightly and straighten the fringe by hand. Professional suede cleaning is recommended for oil, makeup or deeply absorbed stains. More maintenance advice is available in our complete leather jacket care guide.
Hang the jacket on a broad hanger and carefully separate the fringe strips with clean, dry fingers. Allowing them to hang freely for several hours will usually release light bends; avoid ironing or placing direct heat on the suede.
Trimming is not recommended because even a small cut can permanently disturb the balanced fringe line. The strips may appear slightly uneven while moving, so allow the jacket to hang naturally before deciding that professional adjustment is needed.
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth or cotton swab to wipe each stud individually. Do not apply liquid metal polish, as it can spread onto the suede and create dark or discoloured areas.
Suede is not waterproof and should not be exposed to prolonged rain. If unexpected light moisture reaches the jacket, blot it gently, reshape the fringe and let the leather air-dry naturally before brushing.
The short surface fibres of suede reflect light differently depending on their direction. This creates natural lighter and darker areas, especially around moving sections such as the sleeves and fringe, and is part of genuine suede’s character.
Place acid-free tissue between the layers and lay the fringe as straight as possible rather than folding it tightly. Unpack the jacket promptly, hang it on a supportive hanger and gently separate the strips before wearing.
